A true figure of independent American rap, Freddie Gibbs has made a name for himself with his sharp flow, unfiltered pen and acclaimed discography blending street poetry, introspection and raw realism. From Piñata to Bandana with Madlib, via Alfredo (nominated for a Grammy Award), Gibbs shakes up the codes and takes on one project after another with a rare artistic rigour. On stage, Freddie Gibbs unleashes his energy with precision, delivering powerful, no-nonsense performances. A must-see for purists and lovers of sincere, uncompromising hip-hop alike.

À propos

Since his debut in 2004, Freddie Gibbs has established himself as one of the most essential and inimitable voices in contemporary hip-hop. His razor-sharp lyricism, unparalleled technical mastery and raw sense of storytelling have shaped part of the sound of modern rap. Hailing from Indiana, he has built up a loyal worldwide fan base over the course of more than twenty mixtapes, eight EPs, four studio albums and a host of collaborations that have become benchmarks for the genre.

After redefining the rapper-producer duo with Bandana (2019) and Grammy-nominated Alfredo (2020), Gibbs and The Alchemist pushed the boundaries of their musical chemistry with Alfredo 2. The album's success led to a full US tour, once again confirming his status as an exceptional performer.

'Last Rabbit Standing' now marks Gibbs' triumphant return to European and UK stages: a rare opportunity to see one of rap's most consistent and electrifying artists at a time when he has never been sharper. Known for his raw energy and no-nonsense efficiency, Freddie Gibbs is a force to be reckoned with both live and in the studio.

Freddie Gibbs returns to Europe with his new "Last Rabbit Standing" tour, and will be at Le Bataclan on 4 April!
